A tale of a lonely and uninspired artist who spies a mermaid on Brighton beach and becomes obsessed with capturing her image. Whilst making her his muse he falls in love with her but the mermaid has plans of her own. A short morality tale from first time director Ruby Phelan which explores the concept of the male gaze through seaside folklore and subverted onlooking.
